ROLLING
FORK, Mississippi – A
time to harvest has arrived for Buford, a barn cat who works in the Magnolia
State, and he is ready to pounce on a potentially abundant catnip crop. Buford
arrived at the barn earlier this year when he signed a contract at the local
animal shelter to help his caregivers tend to their farm. His duties include
catching mice, sampling the catnip multiple times a day to ensure quality, and taking
frequent naps in the loft. “Most farmers wake up once a day and get to work,
but I wake up at least 8 or 9 times a day,” Buford commented about his unique
level of dedication to his craft. He was later seen sitting on a parked tractor
making engine noises.
Omg! Buford is so cute!
