SALT LAKE
CITY, Utah – Following
great anticipation and financial sacrifice, a Utah cat thanked his human
caregivers for purchasing a $300 cat tree by ignoring the gift and taking a
4-hour nap instead. The unimpressed Ollie - who also wonders why people like to
dangle obviously fake mice around him - saw no point in the contraption upon
his reawakening. “The taller human spent several hours frustratingly building
this thing and I’m not sure what purpose it serves other than being ugly,”
explained Ollie from the windowsill. He
was later seen jumping in and out of a large cardboard box, enthralled by its
endless opportunities for fun.
Sounds about right ! (But hang n there, human. When you are not around he will deign to climb it and bless it with his presence !)
ReplyDeleteCat rule #1: Ignore anything new unless it is a box!
ReplyDeleteI live by that rule.. lol
DeleteSo cat like. I love this. Ollie will get on that cat tree when he's good and ready.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect day and weekend. ♥
That is too funny :)
ReplyDeleteSounds about right.
ReplyDeleteFor real!!!
ReplyDeleteSome kitties are like that. Us? We'd be in the cat tree in a flash!
ReplyDeleteOmg this popped up in my feed this morning and I was way too excited!!! Lol silly Ollie!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much truth in this! MOL
ReplyDeleteHaha, this is why I have some much anxiety when I'm I get my kitty something new!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, my house is littered with random boxes :)
That is so true. Boxes are just the best. But I bet the tree will get used eventually. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that just like a cat! MOL! Don't take it down too soon though, our kitties took 2 weeks to finally use the cat tree, now I can't get them out of it.
ReplyDeleteWhen a new cat tree goes up here, it may take a few days before we approve it.
